2007/08 Season saw Kings Lynn Ladies join forces with West Lynn Sports and Social Club in a deal which meant that the Ladies would become West Lynn Ladies FC ending a era and giving the ladies the fresh start that they needed to build on for future success. It also meant that the ladies would have a first class permanent home to train and play from enabling them to move forward and bring in the best players from the town.
The ladies entered the Hawkwell 5-a-side summer tournament in Essex and against the odds won the competition by only conceding two goals all day. And beat higher opposition along the way.
