WOODS SMASHES HER PERSONAL BEST

Shelley Woods finished the season off with a double hat-trick that meant she hit 50 goals in just 34 appearances for West Lynn beating her tally of last year of 42 goals it now means Shelley has scored an incredible 92 goals in 61 matches since West Lynn Ladies was formed.
The six goals she scored on the final game of the season also meant that she finished leading scorer out of the 3 Eastern Region Leagues with 39 league goals.
Manager Gary Stewart said ' Shelley likes to prove me wrong and once again she has with another stunning season. Her team mates supported her well with many assists that I'm sure she is thankful for. It was a fitting way to finish the season with the whole team doing what they could to make sure Shelley got the six goals she needed in the final match. Well done to the the girls for a great season and a special well done to Shelley for showing me up again i will have to set next seasons target even higher!!!'

LADIES FINISH OFF SEASON IN STYLE

Lynn Ladies ended the season on a high note with a superb 6-0 victory over Huntingdon Town meaning that they only dropped two points at home all season. On a very hot day the girls put in a solid performance seeing that the title was already won it showed good professionalism that they put in such a good performance.

TAVERHAM FINISH AS RUNNERS UP

Taverham finished as runnners up to West Lynn after the teams drew 2-2 for the second time this season. West Lynn scored with a brace from leading scorer Shelley Woods.

LADIES WIN LEAGUE TITLE!!!

West Lynn Ladies won the ERWFL DIV 1 NORTH Title after a 6-1 win against Lakenheath with Shelley Woods bagging herself 5 goals and Lisa Wilson scoring a screamer from 25 yards.

West Lynn Ladies are just two points away from clinching the ERWFL Div 1 North Title after an impressive 2-1 home victory against league rivals Haverhill. The ladies now travel to Lakenheath on bank holiday sunday knowing that victory will see them as league champions.

The ladies took on Norwich City in the Norfolk & Suffolk County Cup Final but unfortunately the two leagues difference between the sides showed on the day with Norwich City running out 5-0 winners. The ladies can take great heart in their performance as they battled throughout the 90 minutes and everyone at the club was extremely proud of them.
